This policy applies to the Umfress Business Solutions corporate website, contact forms, authenticated client and team portals, digital advisory experiences, and business services operated by Umfress Business Solutions, LLC.

UP Ventures products may have additional or product-specific privacy notices. If a product-specific notice conflicts with this policy regarding that product, the product-specific notice will control.

Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with Umfress Business Solutions. It may include:

• Contact and business information: name, work email address, telephone number, company, title, and information included in an inquiry.
• Account information: login identifiers, account role, authentication records, and information needed to administer portal access.
• Engagement information: documents, communications, project materials, assessments, and other content supplied during a consulting engagement.
• Digital-advisor interactions: questions, prompts, feedback, and other content submitted to Ava, Alex, or another Umfress Business Solutions AI-enabled experience.
• Technical and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring source, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic information.
• Scheduling information: information submitted when requesting or booking a meeting.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information, protected health information, financial-account credentials, Social Security numbers, or other confidential data through public website forms or AI chat interfaces unless Umfress Business Solutions has expressly authorized a secure method for that purpose.

How we use information

We may use personal information to:

• Schedule meetings and prepare service proposals.
• Provide executive advisory, fractional leadership, commercial strategy, operational, and AI-transformation services.

AI and digital advisors

Umfress Business Solutions may offer AI-enabled tools and digital advisors, including Ava and Alex, to help users explore Umfress Business Solutions services, organize information, understand business topics, and receive general educational or operational guidance.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for a particular situation. It is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice.

Information submitted to an AI-enabled feature may be processed by Umfress Business Solutions technology providers for the purpose of generating and delivering a response. Users should not submit confidential, legally privileged, protected health, or highly sensitive personal information unless Umfress Business Solutions has expressly approved a secure workflow for that information.

Umfress Business Solutions will describe material uses of submitted content for service improvement or AI development when applicable. We will not promise that content is excluded from model training unless that exclusion is confirmed by the applicable system configuration and vendor agreement.

How we disclose information

Umfress Business Solutions does not sell personal information for money. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: vendors supporting hosting, authentication, communications, scheduling, analytics, document management, CRM functions, voice services, or AI processing.
• Professional advisors: attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and consultants where reasonably necessary.
• Legal and safety purposes: when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, security, users, or the public.
• Business transactions: in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
• With your direction or consent: when you ask us to share information or otherwise authorize the disclosure.

Service providers are expected to use personal information only for contracted purposes and to apply appropriate confidentiality and security protections.

Cookies and analytics

Umfress Business Solutions uses a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences (such as whether Ava’s voice is muted), and operate the client portal. We do not run analytics tools, advertising pixels, or marketing trackers on this website, and we do not currently place any optional tracking cookies. Because there is no optional tracking to gate, this site does not display a cookie consent banner.

Third-party services such as Calendly load only when you actively click a scheduling link. Google Fonts are requested from Google’s font servers when the page loads. A full inventory is available in our Cookie Policy.

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect authentication, portal access, or other website features. If Umfress Business Solutions later adds advertising, analytics, or technologies that constitute “selling” or “sharing” under an applicable privacy law, we will add a consent banner with those categories defaulted off and provide any legally required opt-out mechanism.

Security

Umfress Business Solutions uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures may include authentication, access controls, transport encryption, activity logging, vendor review, backups, and role-based permissions where appropriate to the service.

No website, network, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. Accordingly, Umfress Business Solutions cannot guarantee absolute security.

Retention

Umfress Business Solutions retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and contractual records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, protect security, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods may differ based on the information, service, contractual relationship, legal requirements, and operational need. Information may be deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when it is no longer reasonably required.

Children’s privacy

The Umfress Business Solutions corporate website and executive advisory services are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit personal information through the corporate website or its general AI advisors.

Certain UP Ventures products may be designed for students or families. Before such a product collects personal information from children, Umfress Business Solutions will provide a separate product-specific privacy notice and implement age screening, parental notice, verifiable parental consent, parental access and deletion controls, data minimization, retention limits, and other protections when required by applicable law.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information through a Umfress Business Solutions corporate service may contact us to request review and deletion.

Privacy choices and rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to request:

• Correction of inaccurate information.
• Deletion of certain information.
• A portable copy of certain information.

Umfress Business Solutions will not unlawfully discriminate against an individual for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Our website may link to third-party websites, scheduling services, social platforms, or other services that Umfress Business Solutions does not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, and users should review those notices before providing information.
